Welcoming spring in the “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” Jenny Fairy campaign
To the sounds of one of the most joyous hits of all time – Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” from the 1980s. – Supermodel Jill Kortleve announces Jenny Fairy collection full of color, energy and optimism for spring-summer 2022 season.
A road trip with friends, a weekend at the cottage by the lake, the first warm days spent in nature – this is how the best adventure of the season begins. On a dream getaway, you dance on the grass, weave garlands like at Coachella and have a picnic with friends.
Jenny Fairy’s “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” campaign shot to the rhythm of Cyndi Lauper’s hit is infectious with optimism. Who wouldn’t want to move to a place where time goes slower, the sun never sets, and music still plays?.
The laid-back, fun and spontaneous atmosphere was captured in feisty frames by Dario Catellani, whose photos appear in “WSJ. Magazine”, “Le Monde” or “Purple”. The photographer is famous for his original perspective – his subjects are sometimes exaggerated, sometimes he pays attention only to details, likes to play with proportions. His aesthetic is shared by stylist Ondine Azoulay, who loves the grunge, pop and rave vibes of the 90s.
The biggest star of the campaign is Jill Kortleve, ranked among the world’s top 50 models by models platform.com. The seductive Dutchwoman has just appeared at the Chanel and Valentino haute couture shows and in an Alexander McQueen campaign. At her side are androgynous Austrian Greta Hofer, also straight from the Paris shows of Dior and Valentino, Babette Strijbos, who with her blonde waves looks like an icon of the 80s., and rising star Kukua Willims, who has already appeared in sessions for international editions of “Vogue” and on the catwalk of Erdem.
Girls have fun with fashion, wearing accessories from the spring-summer 2022 collection. The influencer’s shopping list already includes colourful sandals, Y2K-style heeled flip-flops and massive sneakers from the 1980s. The best adventure of the season for Ilona Majer. The handbags stand out with quilted kidneys, wicker baskets, hippie-style plaid bags and XS size bags in juicy colors.
