Balenciaga presents the latest product from its Objects collection
Balenciaga presents the latest product from the Balenciaga Objects collection. Metallic black tiger sculpture is the latest addition to the limited edition collection. The product fits perfectly with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations.
The figurine was designed by Chinese artist Nik Kosmas and is handmade from black brass. It measures 55.88 cm (length) x 17.78 cm (width) and 27.94 cm (height), and sits on a 38 cm x 27 cm platform. It weighs about 13 kilograms and was made in 15 copies. The price was $33,000.
The sculpture combines aspects of futurism with mechanical style, which highlights both the natural grace of wild cats and the beauty of industrial engineering.
